Our third day at Disney was spent at Hollywood Studios and turned out to be one of Daxton's favorite days ever!
Hollywood Studios is going through a major revamp and will be including Star Wars and Toy Story lands soon. When we went there with friends a couple years ago, we ended up doing ALL things Star Wars. It was definitely a pretty magical day for sure!
I can't get over how funny this picture is of all the kiddos crammed onto the speeder π
Dean's facial expression is pretty priceless!

Jeni, Arianne, and I spent at least an hour doing rider swaps for Star Tours. Dax, Dean, and Olive had just gotten tall enough for the ride and were SO excited to immerse themselves in the Star Wars world. While we were taking turns watching Max and/or taking the kids on Star Tours, Monica took Claire to watch the Beauty and the Beast show since Claire wasn't quite tall enough to ride.
Dax and Olive using the force on each other
Everyone wanted to play on the speeder some more...
The most exciting news was Dax, Dean, and Olive making it into the Jedi Training! We had gotten there before park opening to get in line and were so excited they were all going to be able to do the Jedi training together. During their orientation Dean got pretty nervous about being a part of it and opted to watch instead of participate...thus the thumbs up from Dax when I asked them how they felt and an emphatic thumbs down from Deanπ
Look at all these cute Jedis!
They march all the little Jedis down to the staging area after orientation. Everyone chants, "Here Come the Jedi! Here we come!" It was so cute to see Dax and Olive try to march in line and stay close to each other. I loved their little robes they were given to wear π
When Dax and Olive got to the Jedi Training stage they were standing next to each other, but they got separated somehow when they rearranged them into new lines. I tried to take pics of both throughout the training as best I could but it was a bit tricky with them in different locations.
The below pics melt my heart!
Dax about died when he was given his own lightsaber to train with. I thought he totally looked like Luke Skywalker with his long golden hair...
Let the training begin!
All of the Jedis learned three different main moves during their training. The actors that worked with them were great! I couldn't help but laugh at all the different facial expressions from Olive. She was SO into it!
Practicing their new Jedi moves...
Using the force to open the Jedi temple...
My little Jedi was pretty much perfect using the force ππ
LOVE Olive's expressions as she was using the force to open the Jedi temple!
When Darth Vader came out of the Jedi temple Dax about lost his mind. I think it took all his will power not to go over and hug him π
Olive's turn to battle the dark side...
Daxton's turn to battle the dark side...
He talked about battling Darth Vader for daysπ
You can see how proud of himself he was in the pictures below...
The cute Jedis using the force to send Darth Vader away
After Darth Vader was sent away by the force, Kylo Ren came through the Jedi Temple...once again Daxton about lost his mind!
Look closely at all of Olive's different facial expressions in the pics below! She was absolutely amazing and so into the whole show.
Posing for pics after the show was finished...
We looked over at Olive and for some reason she was trying to eat the light saberππ
After Jedi Training, we were making our way over to ride Toy Story mania and were super excited to see the new Star Wars show start! It was the perfect follow up to Jedi training. The kids LOVED being able to see all the different characters and clips from different Star Wars movies.
Dax about lost his mind when Boba Fet came out and even used his blasters across the stage.
So many fun characters!!
Of course the day wouldn't have been complete without meeting Kylo Ren! The kids definitely chose the dark side that day.
After such a perfect day, I couldn't help but get Dax his very own Kylo Ren light saber. He even passed out with it in his handsπ
