Stanley Park

On our last day in Vancouver we decided to explore Stanley Park.
Stanley Park is located downtown and is over 1,000 acres (larger than New York's Central Park.)  It attracts more than eight million visitors every year and has a 5.5 mile seawall path that circles the park.  Most of the park is forested with half a million trees that are as tall as 249ft and hundreds of years old.  We loved the drive through Stanley Park and stopped several times to get out and explore; especially the totem poles and Prospect Point for a killer view of Lion's Gate bridge.  Vancouver quickly became one of my favorite cities and I couldn't help but think it was a perfect blend of San Francisco and Seattle; two other favorite cities of mine.

On a side note...
A big congratulations to my amazing husband who just passed all his CPA exams and got promoted to Manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.  He's pretty much incredible and I couldn't be prouder!  Way to go, sweetheart!
