As soon as Dallas and I moved into our new ward we were called to be "Valiant A" teachers. For those who are not familiar with our Church's vernacular, Valiant A is a class in our Sunday School program where children ages 4-12 attend to learn about different Gospel Principals. The Valiant A class is made up of kids 9-10 years of age. Dallas and I loved our chance to teach this group of children. They taught us so much and we fell in love with their tender spirits.
In March I was called to the Primary Presidency and although I miss teaching my own class, I have loved serving with the other women in this new calling.
Every few months we plan an activity for the kids in the primary to attend. Aubrey always does such an incredible job with the planning and details of each of these activities. This last one was based on a Pioneer theme and several stations were run by parents. There was a butter making station, horses shoes, tire races, panning for 'gold', cricket making, and square dancing. I was in charge of the photo booth, which was a great excuse for me to practice my photography.
Here are some of my favorite shots from the day...
LOVE your pictures of course! WAY too fun!
