Dallas's 29th birthday...checker board cake and all!

We found an incredible deal on flights from Las Vegas to Casper and couldn't pass them up. So after our week in San Diego we drove up and over to Las Vegas and left our car at the airport. We flew to Wyoming to visit Dallas's side of the family for the holidays. We arrived just in time to celebrate Dallas's 29th birthday. Every year Kristie bakes an incredible checkerboard birthday cake (which my mom and I tried to replicate last year...I won't write about the interesting experience!) We had a nice dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Dittburner and then Dallas opened up presents and blew out his candles. It was a nice evening with family.

Dallas was rather annoyed by my choice of glitter covered wrapping...it may have gotten all over his clothes :)

Kristie found all 29 candles...Dallas felt a little old trying to blow them all out.

Checkerboard birthday cake!
It's three layers of interchanging white and chocolate cake...tastes amazing!
