Meeting Little Olive

July has been an insane month.
We literally just got back from a week and a half family reunion/road trip through most of Oregon and Northern California.  Unfortunately somewhere along the way our little guy has come down with a cold of sorts.  He's been running a low temperature for the past couple days, so we are so glad to be home were he can rest in his crib, use a humidifier, and not have to sit in his car seat all day.  Dallas and I were so impressed with how well he did on our first family road trip, though.  He slept so well in his pack and play, did amazing while driving, and was such a happy pleasant baby with all the cousins and family members.  It wasn't until the last three hours of our trip that he started to feel poorly, so we are so grateful that things went so well!  Needless to say we've had quite the adventure filled month and can't wait to share with you all some of the amazing pictures and stories.
Before we get to our trips, we need to back track to the beginning of July...

Like I mentioned, July has been a busy and fun-filled month.
The most exciting news has been that we have another niece in our family!
Little Olive Elaine joined our family at the beginning of July and has been such an amazing addition.  We are all so in love with her perfect little features and so glad that the delivery went so well.  Erik and Heather's children have already welcomed her with open arms.  She is definitely getting her fill of kisses and snuggles!  It's been crazy to hold little Olive and imagine that Daxton was once her size not too long ago...time is moving too quickly!

We love you, Olive, and are so grateful to welcome you to our family!
Love, your auntie, uncle, and little cousin Daxton.
