Disney's Hollywood Studios with the Bean Girls

In the middle of September Dallas had to travel for work and was gone for a week, so Whitney and I decided to take a girls (plus Daxton) trip up to Disney World for a few days.  Whitney was such a sweetheart to join me on this crazy adventure, especially since she had two kids to take care of on her own, not just one like me.  Once again we miraculously fit all three carseats in the back seat of my car, set up a couple DVD players and iPad choices for entertainment, and loaded the car with snacks for our travels.  It's always so much fun being with Whitney.  She has such a positive outlook on life and an amazing level of patience and strength.  Daxton loves her girls so we knew it would be a fun trip for everyone.

The kids did great in the car and at the rest stops.  I love the pictures she got of Daxton holding hands.

We got up to Orlando in the early afternoon which was the perfect amount of time to squeeze in Disney's Hollywood Studios park.  It turned out to be a great day.  There was great cloud coverage so temperatures were low and the kids were in good spirits, especially on the tram to the park!
Such cuties!

I love that Disney photographers will take pictures with your camera.  It was fun to actually get pictures of all of us together.

We decided to go to the Disney Junior area first.  It was a great day because there were no crowds and lines were super short to meet characters.  When Daxton saw Jake he squealed out loud with excitement.  When it was his turn, he literally ran into his arms and wouldn't let go.  Jake was so sweet with him and after a big hug even tickled him to get a good smile for the camera.
My heart melts just looking at how happy he was to meet Jake.

I didn't know if Daxton would be excited to meet Sophia or not.  He watches Sophia the First every once in awhile, but it's mostly the episodes with animals that he stays interested in.  When it was his turn he also ran into her arms for a big hug.  She was really sweet with him and motioned for him to give her a kiss on the cheek, which he did.  Then she took his little face and brought him in for a cute kiss on his cheek.  It was so funny to watch his reaction.  He got super smily almost shy.  He later kept telling me while giggling, "Mommy, Princess Sophia kissed me!"  It was super cute!

While waiting in line Whitney gave Daxton one of her pens and notepads.  It was pretty cute to see him so focused on drawing.

We were also super excited about meeting Wreck it Ralph.  We had recently bought the movie "Wreck it Ralph" before our road trip to Destin and for the next three weeks that was all he wanted to watch.  It was pretty funny seeing him furrow his eyebrows and say in his deep voice, "I'm gonna wreck it!"  The line for Ralph was great because it was lined with different video games from the movie for kids to look at.

I wasn't sure how he was going to react to meeting Ralph considering the costume is so huge, but Daxton ran right into his arms as usual!  He held on so long, it was comical.  He also gave Venelope a big hug, but you could tell he wanted to keep hugging Ralph.

The look of awe on his face is pretty priceless.

We also went to meet Lightening McQueen and Mater.  He was super excited to meet them, even waited in line patiently, but as soon as he ran up to give them a big hug Lightening made a loud revving sound that scared him.  It was your basic revving of the engine sound from both Lightening and Mater, but the sound was too loud for Daxton and he quickly walked away.  By that point in the day, he was pretty exhausted and I wasn't about to push a picture.

We were also able to see the Disney Junior show and the Beauty and the Beast show.  We had a fun day but we were pretty exhausted by the time we got to our hotel.  My favorite part of each night though was that big bathtub in the bottom corner picture.  It was big enough for both Daxton and I to fit, with jetted bubbles!  Every night we would bathe, put on the bubbles, and he would play with his toys while mommy relaxed for a few minutes.  Perfect after a long day at Disney!
