It's been four years since my beautiful niece, Mara, passed away.
Near the end of October 2007, she was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor. After almost a year of chemotherapy and radiation treatments, she passed away in the arms of her family.
I can't believe that four years have passed.
I miss Mara's sweet smile, her high pitched voice, her infectious giggle and her kindness. I miss her dancing, her beautiful hair whether it be straight, curly, long, or short. I miss her snuggles and chubby cheeks. I miss her effortless sense of humor.
I love you, sweet angel, but know that you are happy and in the arms of our Savior.
