Today Mara would have turned 11 years old.
It's hard to believe that 4 1/2 years have gone by since her passing.
She continues to be a source of great happiness in my life as I remember her love, joy, and sense of humor. I think of her whenever I see little girls dancing and in every multicolored butterfly. How honored and blessed I am to be her auntie.
I love you, sweet angel and can't wait until I get to hold you and give you one of my obnoxious kisses again.
Thanks for this post today, Kirsten! Love the pictures of the two of you! It's been a very full, happy day. A few tears but mostly just gratitude for lots of family and friends who have not forgotten. We'll be thinking of little Daxton tomorrow and hope his first birthday is awesome!
